About Poblo International Ministries
Poblo International Ministries is a Lutheran mission organization based in Clinton Township, Michigan, dedicated to transforming how missions are approached in the United States. Rather than focusing solely on overseas work, the organization engages in grassroots community outreach and cross-cultural missions with Muslims, immigrants, and refugees living throughout America. The ministry offers refugee resettlement assistance, English and sewing classes through International Friendship Centers, cultural and social assimilation support, shelter, friendship, hospitality, and assistance to persecuted converts. Poblo works in partnership with local churches across multiple states including Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Missouri, Nebraska, Texas, and California. Committed to Lutheran Church Missouri Synod confessions and doctrine, the organization bridges cultural and spiritual gaps by first building relationships of trust and friendship before sharing the Gospel message in culturally relevant ways.
