About Merson Church
Merson Church is a Christian congregation in Gobles, Michigan, with a history that began when the church officially formed on April 15, 1883. Rev. Lucien Spayd was called as its first pastor in 1884. The church’s teaching is rooted in a doctrinal statement that affirms the Bible as inspired by God and the personal, imminent return of Jesus. Sunday ministries include Sunday School, morning worship, and evening worship, and the church offers children’s ministry, small groups, and youth ministry. SWAT, Students With A Testimony, meets on Sunday mornings and on Wednesday evenings during the school year. Merson Church is currently searching for a senior pastor.
