About St Anne's Catholic Church
Ste. Anne's Catholic Church is located on Mackinac Island in Michigan's Straits of Mackinac, home to one of the oldest continuously serving Catholic communities in North America. The parish's history spans over 350 years, beginning with a Jesuit mission established on the island and continuing today as a vibrant spiritual home for residents, seasonal workers, and visitors. Ste. Anne's welcomes all who wish to worship within the Roman Catholic tradition while experiencing the unique island community that has sustained this faith for centuries. The church also serves as a beautiful setting for Catholic weddings and maintains an active calendar of sacraments and ministries. Whether attending one of the regular weekend or weekday masses or exploring the rich spiritual heritage of this historic parish, visitors join a faithful tradition rooted deeply in both the Catholic faith and Mackinac Island's heritage.
