About Petersburg United Methodist Church
Petersburg United Methodist Church in Petersburg, Michigan is a warm and welcoming community of believers dedicated to serving the needs of their community through outreach ministries. Located at 152 Saline Street, the church gathers every Sunday morning at 11:00 AM for worship and extends a genuine invitation to all people to join them. Under the pastoral leadership of Rev. David LaLone, who arrived in July 2025, the congregation emphasizes connecting people to faith and each other through worship, fellowship, and service to others with the love of God. Their worship style is mostly traditional, featuring hymns, prayers, and thoughtful sermons, though they occasionally incorporate different styles of service. The church actively welcomes visitors and families of all ages, providing activity bags for younger children during service, and maintains an open communion table available to all regardless of membership status.
