About Port Austin Sabbatarian Church
Port Austin Sabbatarian Church, also known as Port Austin Bible Campus, was a non-denominational Christian ministry located on the grounds of the former Port Austin Air Force Base in Port Austin, Michigan. Founded in 2010, PABC served the homeless population across Michigan's Thumb region for 14 years, providing emergency shelter and Christian education to over 1,000 individuals. The ministry operated entirely through volunteers and maintained a commitment to Bible-centered teaching, requiring guests to attend daily Bible classes featuring Christian videos and scriptural discussion. PABC closed on July 9, 2018, after successfully transitioning its guests to new housing and passing its property to another organization.
