About Saint John Lutheran Church
Saint John Evangelical-Lutheran Church, founded in 1884, is a member congregation of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod (LCMS) serving Ray Township and the greater Metro Detroit area. The church maintains a commitment to the historic liturgy of the Western Church, celebrating the Divine Service every Sunday at 9:00 AM and Monday at 6:00 PM, with additional services on Wednesday evenings during Advent and Lent. Saint John follows the Lutheran Service Book for its liturgy and hymnody, and offers Adult Bible Study, Youth Sunday School, and catechism instruction.
