About First United Methodist Church
First United Methodist Church in Richmond, Michigan welcomes visitors with an emphasis on open hearts, open minds, and open doors. The congregation traces its roots back to 1837, when Daniel Hall invited neighbors to a prayer meeting in his home, and the church building itself has stood since 1906, serving as a beacon of faith and community service for generations. Guided by the Methodist tradition and their mission to serve with love and grow in faith, the church is committed to offering help, hope, and healing to all people regardless of background or belief.
