About Woodside Bible Church
Woodside Bible Church is a Baptist church in Royal Oak and part of a church spanning many communities in southeast Michigan. Its roots go back to 1955, when Pastor Harold Moran founded Big Beaver Baptist Church in what is now Troy. The church first met in homes, a bicycle shop, and the local city hall before settling in its own building on Rochester Road. Woodside says it exists to glorify God by making disciples who live out their identity in Christ, with a continued heart to see people believe the Gospel. Ministries include children’s ministry, youth group, and small groups, and the church also provides a weekly blog and a sermon archive with hundreds of sermons.
