About Ascension Lutheran Church
Ascension Lutheran Church is an ELCA congregation located in Saginaw, Michigan, that welcomes all people on their faith journeys, whether deeply connected to Jesus or just beginning to know him. The church gathers around the conviction that all are simultaneously saint and sinner, strengthened and encouraged by community to live out the gospel together. Ascension offers worship on Sunday mornings at 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., as well as Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m., with online worship available through YouTube for those unable to attend in person. The congregation emphasizes participatory worship rooted in Scripture study, welcomes families with children through a dedicated children's church program during the 10:30 a.m. service, and provides numerous opportunities for adults to grow in faith through Bible studies, support groups, and service ministries. With an open table and a stated mission to spread Christ's love through open hearts, open minds, and open lives, Ascension invites the wider community to experience their fellowship.
