About Saron Lutheran Church
Saron Evangelical Lutheran Church in Saint Joseph, Michigan, is a faithful community that continually seeks new ways to grow and serve to the glory of God. As a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), Saron believes in a gracious God revealed in the crucified and risen Christ. The church welcomes all people regardless of ability, age, ethnicity, gender identity, language, race, sexual orientation, or other life circumstances. Saron is affiliated with ReconcilingWorks: Lutherans for Full Participation, demonstrating commitment to full inclusion and equity. The congregation gathers for worship twice each Sunday and engages in active ministries including a soup kitchen outreach that prepared 1,500 meals in 2025, as well as music ensembles, adult and youth learning opportunities, and Bible study groups.
