About New Hope Community Church
New Hope Community Church is a non-denominational congregation located in Shelby, Michigan, gathering on Sunday mornings at 11:00 AM under the pastoral leadership of Rev. Chelsea Reynhout. The church describes itself as a community of broken but growing followers of Jesus, centered on four core values: peace building, spiritual formation, life together, and radical hospitality. Worship takes place at round tables rather than pews, with a casual atmosphere that welcomes visitors regardless of their background or beliefs. Beyond Sunday services, the church offers various community activities including a women's bible study on Thursday afternoons, monthly Fourth Sunday Feasts, children's worship during sermons, and community game nights, reflecting their commitment to shared life and mutual support.
