About St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church
St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Swartz Creek, Michigan has served its community since 1912, when over 100 families of Czech, Moravian, Slovakian, and Bohemian descent established the parish. The church building was completed in 1959 and underwent renovations in 1984 and again in 2008 to create a more prayerful worship environment. Today, the parish invites the community to experience a welcoming Roman Catholic family committed to faith, hope, and love through worship, sacramental preparation, faith formation, and active service ministries. Under the pastoral leadership of Father Louis Ekka, the parish honors its rich traditions while fostering spiritual growth and meaningful participation for all members. Visitors are encouraged to join the congregation for Mass and discover how St. Mary Queen of Angels continues to inspire faith and community in Michigan.
