About Fresh Start Ministries
Fresh Start Ministries was founded in February 2005 when Pastor Charles Winfield, known affectionately as Pastor Fresh, received a vision from the Lord for a church centered on new beginnings and redemption. Beginning with just 16 charter members in a Union Hall on Detroit's Westside, the ministry has grown to serve the Warren, Michigan community. Pastor Winfield established Fresh Start Ministries as a welcoming place for people of all races, emphasizing caring, sharing, love, warmth, healing, and celebrating God's redeeming grace. The church offers multiple worship and study opportunities throughout the week to help members deepen their faith and connection to the body of Christ.
