The church represents a rich heritage, formed in 1967 from the merger of two Albany congregations and later joined by members from two additional closed churches. Worshiping as part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), the congregation gathers for in-person and online services at 9:00 am. Beyond worship, the church emphasizes fellowship, education, and service opportunities for members of all ages, with volunteers engaged in various ministries from worship leadership to community outreach.
