About Augustana Lutheran Church
Augustana Lutheran Church is a vibrant faith community of more than 2,200 members in all stages of life, rooted in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) tradition. Since its founding in 1907, Augustana has been sharing the good news of Jesus Christ and has grown from its origins on South Robert Street into a welcoming congregation that serves the Saint Paul area. The church emphasizes worship as the heart of community life, featuring gospel-centered preaching and a rich music tradition, while also prioritizing lifelong faith journeys, meaningful relationships, and generous service to neighbors near and far. Augustana practices an open table theology and intentionally welcomes people of all backgrounds, life stages, and faith experiences, offering both outdoor casual worship and traditional indoor services on Sunday mornings.

Dress Code: Come as you are—worship is casual and relaxed, and visitors are invited to bring coffee and sit however fits them best. Service Format: Sunday worship includes a 9:00 am outdoor service in the parking lot (tune to 90.1 FM in your car or bring a lawn chair) and a 10:00 am indoor sanctuary service featuring traditional yet relaxed worship with meaningful liturgy, inspiring music, and a thoughtful message; the 10:00 am service is livestreamed.
