About Glen Avon Presbyterian Church
Glen Avon Presbyterian Church, located in Duluth, Minnesota, has served its community for over 120 years since its founding in 1893 by twenty charter members from Hunter's Hill. The church is grounded in the faith and discipleship of its earliest founders, who chose the name Glen Avon—inspired by a Scottish valley and England's famous river—reflecting their heritage. Today, the congregation invites visitors to experience the gracious, active presence of Christ through Sunday morning worship, Sunday school, family ministry, and various service opportunities. With Rev. Dr. John Mann serving as Transitional Pastor and Kathryn Bell as Family and Youth Coordinator, the church emphasizes bringing the Holy Spirit into members' lives and touching the lives of those around them. Glen Avon welcomes you to become part of their family and participate in their mission work and spiritual community.
