About Unitarian Universalist Lake
Unitarian Universalist Lake Fellowship is an open-minded, open-hearted spiritual community located in Excelsior, Minnesota, welcoming visitors to join their eclectic Sunday programs that blend spirituality, philosophy, politics, social issues, and music. The fellowship meets in a small A-frame building and features presentations by outside speakers and community members, followed by spirited and open discussion of program topics. As a lay-led group, the fellowship emphasizes personal and group learning, friendship, and service in the spirit of liberal religion, providing a safe space for authentic and respectful conversations. The fellowship operates seasonally, gathering from the week after Labor Day through the week before Memorial Day at 10:30 a.m. on Sundays, and also hosts community events throughout the year including book club meetings, picnics, and outdoor activities. Rooted in Unitarian Universalist values of love, pluralism, justice, and equity, the fellowship celebrates diverse cultures and theologies while honoring the interdependent web of all existence.
