About Cross of Christ Lutheran Church
Cross of Christ Lutheran Church, rooted in Houston, Minnesota since 1855, serves as a spiritual cornerstone for its community. The congregation worships in a beautiful historic stone church building, dedicated in 1960, featuring carefully maintained stained glass windows. Cross of Christ offers both traditional and contemporary services throughout the school year and summer, supported by an active W/ELCA, senior choir, and prayer group. The church hosts community events including a yearly meatball supper and Easter breakfast, and maintains strong ties to the rural setting while remaining accessible to larger regional centers. Guided by Pastor Dana Jackson and a dedicated staff, the congregation continues the spiritual legacy of their ancestors while serving contemporary needs.
