About Saint Paul's Ucc/Elca

Saint Paul's UCC/ELCA in Lewiston, Minnesota represents a unique union of two Christian traditions brought together through shared theological heritage. The congregation traces its roots to 1885 when German immigrants established an Evangelical church, which later joined the United Church of Christ through denominational mergers. In 1981, a group of Lutheran families seeking local worship and education were welcomed into a historic yoking with Saint Paul's, creating one of the few combined UCC/ELCA congregations. Today, the church gathers for Sunday worship at 9 am, offering both in-person services and YouTube livestreams, along with Sunday School and monthly youth group activities. Saint Paul's welcomes visitors of all backgrounds to join their faith journey and invites those with questions to reach out for more information.
