About Greater Minneapolis Council Of Churches
Greater Minneapolis Council of Churches is a multicultural, interfaith organization serving Minneapolis and Minnesota communities for over 121 years. The council collaborates with the communities it serves to build equity and foster wellbeing, addressing root causes of inequity through sustainable solutions. Its work centers on three main focus areas: food security, youth development and education, and wellbeing services. The organization recognizes that wellbeing education, economic stability, and social determinants of health are fundamental to health outcomes, and directs its efforts toward these areas to maximize impact. GMCC brings people together to address immediate needs while working toward long-term systemic change across the region.
