About Catholic Charities
Catholic Charities is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and the national membership organization for Catholic Charities agencies throughout the United States and its territories. Founded in 1910, the organization coordinates a network of 169 diocesan Catholic Charities agencies dedicated to serving people, families, and communities in need. The organization provides service across multiple priority areas including affordable housing, food and nutrition, integrated health care, disaster relief, social enterprise and workforce development, immigration services, and foundational support. Last year, Catholic Charities agencies nationwide served more than 15 million at-risk neighbors including those experiencing homelessness, unemployment, food insecurity, and other vulnerabilities.
