About Lutheran Church of the Redeemer (ELCA)
Lutheran Church of the Redeemer is a welcoming ELCA congregation located in Saint Paul's historic Rondo neighborhood, where it has served the community since its founding in 1890 and has occupied its current building on Dale Street since 1911. The church is explicitly committed to radical inclusion, welcoming all people without regard to culture, ethnicity, ability, age, family situation, economic status, sexual orientation, or gender identity, and proudly identifies as a Reconciling in Christ congregation. As one of only a few multiracial congregations in the ELCA, Redeemer actively serves its diverse neighborhood by hosting community organizations and maintaining deep connections to the local community. Worship is at the heart of congregational life, centered on Word and Sacrament, and visitors are invited to experience the community's liturgical tradition and sense of belonging.
