About Pilgrim Lutheran Church
Pilgrim Lutheran Church, founded in 1921 as a mission church in the Macalester-Groveland neighborhood of Saint Paul, has evolved into an inclusive Christian worshipping community centered on nurturing hungry minds and souls. The church celebrates liturgical worship with excellent music, including instrumental and vocal performances supported by a pipe organ, alongside both adult and children's choirs. Pilgrim practices an open communion table welcoming all participants and offers both traditional Sunday morning worship at 9:30 a.m. and creative, contemplative evening services on second Sundays at 6:51 p.m. The congregation is deeply committed to accessibility, equity, and inclusion, actively working toward antiracism, LGBTQIA+ affirmation, gender equity, and environmental stewardship. Located at 1935 St. Clair Avenue with accessible entry via elevator and street parking available, Pilgrim invites all pilgrims on their faith journey to find community and spiritual home.
