About Taylors Falls United Methodist Church

Taylors Falls United Methodist Church, organized in 1859 and constructed in 1861, is the oldest continuously used Methodist church in Minnesota. Located in the Angel Hill Historic District and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this Greek Revival structure retains much of its original character while benefiting from thoughtful restoration work completed over the past two decades. The congregation describes itself as small enough to be a family yet big enough to make a difference, welcoming all who come to join in worship, Sunday school, confirmation, and fellowship. The church maintains an active outreach ministry to the community and hosts various programs including Bible studies, coffee talks, and ecumenical events throughout the year. Visitors are invited to experience worship in this historic setting where the congregation gathers on Sunday mornings to worship and praise God, care for one another, and share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
