About Edge
The Edge Church is an Assemblies of God congregation located in downtown Winona, Minnesota, founded by Pastor Chuck Peterson in March 2009. The church has grown significantly over the years, expanding to multiple campuses and adopting another congregation in 2018. In May 2020, The Edge purchased its own building at 69 East 3rd Street, where it now holds Sunday services featuring vibrant worship, prayer, and biblically-based messages designed to be both relevant and rejuvenating. The church welcomes visitors of all backgrounds and life stages—from children to seniors, longtime church members to first-time visitors—emphasizing that it is a place where people can come exactly as they are and belong. The Edge is built around the mission to Experience God, Discover your purpose, Go "glocal" through missions, and Enjoy the journey.
First-Time Visitor Info for Edge
Dress Code: Come exactly as you are—jeans and casual clothing are common, though some choose to dress up. Service Format: Services run 60–75 minutes with vibrant worship, prayer, and challenging messages; free donuts and coffee are available starting at 9:30 AM before the 10:00 AM service, and childcare is provided in the nursery and preschool rooms. Visitor Tips: Street and alley parking are available near the building, with a drop-off zone at the front entrance and handicap parking in the alley between 3rd and 4th streets; visitors are not expected to give money, and first-time guests are encouraged to find the Connect Table upon arrival.
