Union Grove Baptist Church is a historic Baptist congregation located in Lithia Springs, Georgia, with roots tracing back to September 1891 when Salt Springs Baptist Church and Oak Grove Baptist Church merged. The church was founded on land graciously donated by John James, whose wife suggested the name Union Grove. Over its 135-year history, the church has grown to include a sanctuary built in 1978 with a capacity of 500 people, and today it continues to serve its community through traditional worship and Bible study. Led by Pastor Rev. Kenneth O. Hennesy, Union Grove Baptist offers a welcoming environment for those seeking to deepen their faith and connect with a congregation rooted in the Southern Baptist tradition.
