About Planting Seeds Outreach Ministry
Planting Seeds Church of Deliverance is a non-denominational ministry founded by Apostle Betty Joyce Johnson that began in 1991 as an outreach ministry meeting in Pastor Johnson's home for prayer and Bible study. Obedient to God's calling, the ministry was officially chartered on July 19, 1993, and has since grown significantly, now occupying a three-building complex at 5360 Executive Place in north Jackson. The church serves the community through diverse ministries including children and youth programs, women's and men's ministries, a van ministry, prison ministry, drug and alcohol ministry, and literacy programs, all guided by a commitment to let their light shine before others through good works. With a sanctuary, fellowship hall, serenity room, classrooms, and a social service center, Planting Seeds Church welcomes individuals from all walks of life to worship and serve alongside the congregation as it reaches out to transform lives through God's Word.
