About Rock Pentecostal Apostolic Church
The Rock Pentecostal Apostolic Church in Plantersville, Mississippi, traces its roots to 1982 when Bishop Forster established the first Apostolic congregation in the area. Beginning humbly in a rented house, the church grew under Bishop Forster's vision and leadership, eventually securing land and constructing a dedicated building. The congregation joined the Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith International Inc. in 1990 and was reorganized as The Rock Pentecostal Apostolic Church Inc. in 2000. Following a fire in 2011 that destroyed the original building, the church relocated to its current home at 2406 Main Street in the heart of Plantersville, where it continues its mission rooted in Apostolic doctrine and community service. The church emphasizes the Oneness of God, water baptism in Jesus' name, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues, striving to live holy, Spirit-led lives centered on lifting up the name of Jesus.
