About West County Assembly of God
West County Assembly of God is an Assemblies of God congregation located in Chesterfield, Missouri, with a rich history spanning over five decades. Founded in 1969 by Dr. John A. Wilson with just 17 people meeting in a rented classroom, the church has grown significantly and now serves a diverse community representing more than 15 countries. The church is characterized by a missions-focused legacy, whole-life generosity, and a commitment to discipleship and community impact. Under the current leadership of Pastor Greg Perkins, who was elected in 2024, the congregation continues to develop thriving international ministries including Iranian, Telugu, and Brazilian fellowships. The church occupies a multi-building campus on Highway 40 that includes a main sanctuary, the Christian Life Center, and the Faith Center, which together provide space for worship, education, youth ministry, and community connection.
