About New Life Evangelistic Center
New Life Evangelistic Center is a non-profit church center founded in 1972 by Reverend Larry Rice, dedicated to serving the homeless and poor in Saint Louis and beyond. Motivated by faith in Jesus Christ, the center provides comprehensive support including shelter, food, clothing, job training, and spiritual guidance to those experiencing homelessness and poverty. The organization operates multiple programs such as safe houses, leadership training, and a veterans center, while also operating NLEC TV and the Here's Help Radio Network to advocate for and serve vulnerable populations throughout the Midwest and internationally. With over 30 staff members and countless volunteers, the center provides over 150,000 meals annually and more than 65,000 nights of emergency shelter, alongside 80,000 social service contacts helping individuals and families access basic necessities and housing assistance. The church's mission centers on Christian hospitality, demonstrating God's unconditional love through direct service to the impoverished and oppressed.
