About Silent Unity Telephone Prayer
Silent Unity Telephone Prayer is the Unity Prayer Ministry, a spiritual service organization based in Lee's Summit, Missouri, and rooted in the Unity tradition founded in 1889. The ministry has served people around the world for more than a century, offering free, compassionate prayer support and spiritual encouragement to individuals of all faiths facing personal crises, grief, healing needs, or seeking peace and guidance. Operating 24/7, the trained prayer team listens without judgment and prays using affirmative prayer—a method that affirms peace, healing, wholeness, and divine presence rather than pleading or begging. Beyond phone support, the ministry accepts prayer requests online, through the BeUnity app, social media, and mail, and holds each request in sacred trust for 30 days in their prayer vigil. Visitors and callers are welcomed into a compassionate, inclusive spiritual community grounded in the belief that each person is a divine expression of God.
