About Raymore Christian Church
Raymore Christian Church is a welcoming congregation of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) denomination, formally established in 1980 and located at 500 Peace Drive in Raymore, Missouri. The church grew from its humble beginnings in a community bank to a thriving community presence, now serving families through worship services, Sunday school classes, and extensive outreach ministries including food pantries, the Micah Ministry, and a diaper ministry. Under the pastoral leadership of Mike Hanneman, the church embodies its mission to know and love God by practicing the Gospel while welcoming, affirming, serving, and caring for all people. The congregation celebrates communion every Sunday and offers a blend of traditional and contemporary worship styles, with dedicated programming for children ages three through ten during services. Raymore Christian Church also operates Bright Cherubs Preschool on its grounds, providing a nurturing Christian environment for early learners. Visitors are invited to experience the church's warm and inclusive atmosphere, where people of all backgrounds are welcomed at the Lord's Table and encouraged to become part of the church family.

Dress Code: Some people come in their Sunday best, others in casual attire; all are welcome at RCC. Service Format: Adult Sunday School begins at 9:00 am, followed by Worship at 10:00 am in the sanctuary; children ages 3-10 may attend Worship and Wonder during the service; the service includes an adult choir, traditional and contemporary hymns, a message from the pastor, and The Lord's Supper (communion). Visitor Tips: Ample parking is available in the lot; a greeter will welcome you at the main front door and direct you to the sanctuary or Sunday school; scripture is displayed on screens and Bibles are in the pews; visitors are asked to fill out an information card in the bulletin (no need to stand and introduce yourself); the building is handicap accessible from the main front door with a handicap accessible family restroom on the main floor.
