About Refuge Church
Refuge Church is a non-denominational community in Saint Charles, Missouri that gathers to encounter God through preaching, singing, responsive scripture readings, communion, and gospel-centered relationships. Located at 1540 Country Club Plaza Drive, the church emphasizes knowing Jesus through studying Scripture and building authentic connections with others. Visitors are welcomed by greeters and encouraged to arrive a bit early to grab coffee or tea and meet members. The church offers multiple pathways for connection, including a Connections Cafe after Sunday services, Gospel Community Groups that meet weekly in homes throughout the area, and men's and women's ministries with regular events and retreats. Refuge Essentials classes are available each spring and fall for those interested in membership, covering the church's history, beliefs, and mission.

Dress Code: We're a pretty informal place. Service Format: Responsive scripture readings are woven throughout our time of singing, with sermons given by lead pastor Trey Herweck or one of our elders, and communion is celebrated every Sunday. Visitor Tips: Our greeters will welcome you with a smile and answer any questions you may have; stop by the Connections Area after you enter the building for more information about Refuge.
