About St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Parish
St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Parish is a Catholic parish in Saint Charles and part of the Archdiocese of St. Louis. The parish traces its beginnings to 1769, when a log cabin was used for Mass and church gatherings. Its history also includes rebuilding after a windstorm destroyed the main brick church on July 7, 1915, and the restored church was re-sanctified on November 7, 1991. Reverend James Theby serves as pastor, with Reverend George Staley as part-time associate pastor. The parish offers Mass throughout the week, including Spanish-language Mass, and has a youth group.
