About St. Patrick Parish
St. Patrick Parish is a welcoming Catholic community in Saint Joseph, Missouri, with deep historical roots dating to 1869 when it was established by Fr. Eugene Kenny as the third Catholic parish in the city. Originally serving the area's large Irish-born population, the parish has grown and evolved, merging with Holy Rosary Parish in 1960 to become a vibrant, bilingual faith community today. The parish embraces a multicultural mission, offering masses in both English and Spanish, and remains committed to its core mission of helping people come to know Jesus Christ and grow in their Christian faith. With approximately 300 families, St. Patrick Parish continues to serve the greater Saint Joseph area through its various ministries, including K-12 Catholic education and active parish organizations. Visitors are invited to join this faith-filled and welcoming community.
