About The Gathering Umc
The Gathering UMC is a Methodist church founded in 2006 that welcomes people from all backgrounds—believers, skeptics, and everyone in between. With multiple locations across the Saint Louis metro area including McCausland, Webster, Clayton, and Metro East, the church offers services on Sunday mornings at varying times to accommodate different schedules. The Gathering emphasizes relevant, thoughtful messages that take the Bible seriously while interpreting it for contemporary life, combining rich traditions with modern worship practices. The church is built on six shared practices: worship, serve, pray, grow, give, and invite. Visitors are invited to come as they are and experience a faith community centered on Jesus and active discipleship.
