About Camp Branch Baptist Church
Camp Branch Baptist Church is a rural Southern Baptist congregation located approximately seven miles southwest of Sedalia, Missouri, with roots reaching back to its founding in February 1877. The church was organized by W. H. Rodgers, Reverend E. H. Burchfield, and other local farmers who recognized the need to unite in worship, initially gathering in private homes before purchasing land in 1881. The current sanctuary, dedicated in 1986, replaced the previous structure that was destroyed by fire on Thanksgiving Eve 1985. Known as
