About Child of God Church and School
Child of God Lutheran Church and School is a family-oriented, Christ-focused congregation in St. Peters, Missouri, affiliated with the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. Founded in 2003 as a mission church, it grew from the successful expansion of Child of God School, which began in 1999 with just ten kindergarteners and now serves over 270 students from age two through eighth grade. The church emphasizes providing a warm, welcoming environment designed to accommodate all individuals, including young families and those with disabilities, with the goal of helping each person find a clear path to Christ. Sunday worship is held at 9:30 a.m. in a traditional style, followed by Bible study and Sunday school from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. The congregation invites visitors to experience their community-focused ministries and faith-centered approach to both spiritual growth and academic excellence.
