About Gideons International
The Gideons International is an evangelical association dedicated to equipping and mobilizing Christian business and professional men, along with their wives, to share God's Word and win others for Jesus Christ worldwide. Founded in 1899, the organization has distributed over 2.6 billion copies of Scripture across more than 190 countries and territories. Members strengthen one another through fellowship and mutual accountability while actively spreading the Gospel message in their daily interactions and communities. The Steelville chapter participates in this global mission of placing Bibles in hotels, hospitals, shelters, and other places where people seek hope.
