About First Christian Church
First Christian Church of Troy is a Disciples of Christ congregation rooted in the American Protestant tradition dating back to the early 1800s. As part of a denomination of over 3,500 congregations across the United States and Canada, this active and caring community is dedicated to making the Gospel a living reality through worship, spiritual growth, and service. The church offers two distinct Sunday morning worship experiences: a traditional service at 8:30 a.m. featuring organ and piano music with the Chalice Hymnal, and a contemporary service at 10:45 a.m. led by the praise team
