The church has grown from its humble beginnings in the Yellowstone County Courthouse to its current location at 218 North 34th Street, where the sanctuary was completed in 1949. With a rich heritage of 19 pastors over 125 years, First Baptist remains committed to connecting people with Jesus Christ and making disciples of all nations. The congregation prioritizes both global missions, currently supporting work in Thailand and Mexico, and local outreach within Billings and the surrounding region.
