About S S Cyril & Methodius Catholic
Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church has served the East Helena community since 1899, when Bishop John Brondel dedicated the cornerstone on land featuring native red porphyry stone donated by local benefactors. The parish, inspired by the example of Saints Cyril and Methodius, welcomes all as disciples of Jesus called to unique spiritual journeys and invites visitors to walk together in faith. The church offers weekend Mass on Saturday evenings and Sunday mornings, weekday Mass throughout the week, reconciliation, faith formation, and various parish events and ministries. Recently completed sanctuary renovations honor the church's historic architecture while serving the spiritual and pastoral needs of East Helena and its surrounding missions. The parish community emphasizes evangelization, worship, healing, and meeting people where they are on their faith journey.
