Founded in late 2015, the church has grown from three couples gathering in a living room to an established congregation that gathers for worship every Sunday at 9am at 233 Kalispell Ave. The church emphasizes gospel, worship, community, and commitment to serving the city, offering formation classes for children and youth in the fall and spring. Church of the Cross explicitly welcomes people with questions and doubts, positioning itself as a safe place where people don't need to share every belief to belong. The community values diverse perspectives, creative engagement with faith, and local justice work, giving ten percent of its annual budget to community services and ministries.
