About Messiah Lutheran Church
Messiah Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America located in Aurora, Nebraska, founded in 1970 and formally established as Messiah Lutheran in 1971. What began as a small group of 25 charter members has grown into a vibrant community of over 400 members. The congregation moved into a beautiful new worship facility in 2000 and completed significant building additions in 2014 to better serve its growing membership and community mission. Guided by their motto "Powered by God's Grace," Messiah is dedicated to serving the church, community, and world through Christ-centered faith, emphasizing discipleship, prayer, worship, and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with others.

Service Format: Sunday worship at 9:00 a.m. features a fairly traditional service with a blend of traditional and contemporary Christian music, lasting approximately one hour, with a children's sermon prior to the gospel reading. Visitor Tips: Messiah welcomes approximately 90 to 100 attendees each Sunday and actively encourages visitors and new faces to join the congregation.
