About First Steps Daycare
First Steps Daycare is a Christ-centered infant and toddler care center affiliated with Peace Lutheran Church in Columbus, Nebraska, serving the community for over twenty years. The facility provides care for children ages six weeks to four years old in a safe, nurturing environment designed to foster cognitive, physical, and spiritual growth. The program emphasizes hands-on exploration and age-appropriate activities that promote creativity and socialization, with weekly chapel services led by Peace Lutheran pastors where children learn about Jesus through songs and Bible stories. First Steps operates Monday through Friday from 6:45 AM to 6:00 PM and also offers a specialized Playschool class for three- and four-year-olds, as well as Kidz Educational Dance Express for children ages two and up. Staff are affectionate, well-trained, and responsive, creating an environment grounded in Christian values and open communication with families.
