About First Baptist Church
First Baptist Church in Kearney, Nebraska is a Baptist congregation located at 3610 6th Avenue that welcomes visitors with a philosophy of genuine community and grace. The church emphasizes that people can come as they are, regardless of dress, background, or opinion, and strives to create an accepting environment where biblical teaching and authentic connection are central. Services feature biblical preaching and music that aims to connect God-honoring lyrics with biblical teaching, occasionally incorporating choir performances or individual talents alongside simplified worship elements. The congregation values sacrifice and unity, intentionally varying their worship style to honor different preferences within the community. Visitors are invited to join Sunday services at 10 a.m. or explore online options, and the church encourages newcomers to get involved in how God is shaping their faith community.
