About Prince of Peace Catholic Church
Prince of Peace Catholic Church is a welcoming parish community in Kearney, Nebraska, rooted in the Catholic tradition and dedicated to serving its members through both spiritual nourishment and practical support. The parish offers multiple Mass times throughout the week, including early morning services and weekend Masses, along with live-streamed and on-demand options for those unable to attend in person. Beyond worship, Prince of Peace demonstrates a strong commitment to community care through its Helping Hands initiative, a volunteer-driven program providing meals, yard work, snow removal, and other assistance to parishioners in need. Under the leadership of Fr. Scott Harter, whose weekly homilies are available via podcast, the parish fosters spiritual growth through reconciliation opportunities, parish app resources, and engaging community events like the annual BBQ & Bazaar. Visitors and those interested in learning more about the Catholic faith are warmly invited to register with the parish or contact the office at 308-236-9171.
