About Zion Lutheran Church and School
Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church is a Christ-centered congregation of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod located in the heart of Kearney, Nebraska. The church gathers worshippers around God's Holy Word and Sacraments in the Divine Service each Sunday at 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., with Bible study and Sunday School following at 10:30 a.m. The congregation is strengthened through God's mercy and expressed in fervent love toward one another. Zion also operates and supports an excellent Christian school as part of its care for the community. Visitors are welcomed to experience liturgical worship in the Lutheran tradition and to grow in God's Word alongside this compassionate and confessional congregation.
