About A Newlife Christian Counseling
New Life Counseling and Coaching is a faith-based Christian counseling practice founded in 2002 by Dr. Don Gilbert, now serving the greater Des Moines, Iowa area with more than 26 counselors and staff members across three locations. The organization provides professional outpatient counseling services for adolescents, adults, couples, families, and groups, integrating sound psychological theory with Christian principles and values. All counselors are believers who approach their work with a commitment to helping clients heal from past experiences, develop practical skills for daily living, and grow toward personal, relational, and professional success. The practice's philosophy centers on the belief that real healing happens in safe, connected relationships, and their core values emphasize compassion, growth, empowerment, integrity, holistic wellness, and service to each person's unique journey.
