About Messiah Lutheran Church
Messiah Lutheran Church in North Platte, Nebraska has served its community since 1955, when the congregation held its first worship service with 35 people on Palm Sunday. The church relocated to its current location at 2700 West A Street in 1962 and expanded with a new sanctuary by 1995. Under the pastoral leadership of Anne Durboraw, Messiah is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and seeks to create environments where people can experience God through worship, biblical teaching, and fellowship. The congregation welcomes visitors to join Sunday worship at 9:30 a.m., followed by coffee and fellowship, and offers various ministries including adult Bible studies, Lenten programs, and community fellowship activities throughout the year.
